We turn low-value plastic waste into certified plastic credits that fund real-world cleanup and empower the communities doing the work. Our model prioritizes informal waste workers, builds local infrastructure, and puts ownership in the hands of local partners.
Reclaimify helps clean up plastic waste, support informal waste workers, and build better waste management systems.
About Reclaimify
What We Do
Why It Matters
- Lombok produces 450 tons of plastic waste daily — most of it goes uncollected or burned.
- There is no government-run waste system. Everything is done by hand, informally.
- Plastic films are the most polluting, the hardest to collect, and the least valued by recyclers.
Our Values
- Local First: The project exists to serve communities, not extract from them.
- Transparent by Design: Every credit is tracked from collection to recycling.
- Scalable Impact: What we build in Lombok is designed to be replicated worldwide.
What is a Plastic Credit?
A plastic credit represents the verified collection and responsible recycling of one metric ton of plastic waste. Reclaimify credits are:
- Third-party certified by PCX Solutions
- Focused on the hardest-to-recycle plastics like films and sachets
- Fully traceable from pickup to processing

Our Partner
East Lombok
The East Lombok Aggregator focuses on low-value plastic, a type often neglected in recycling efforts. What makes this site unique is its island-wide collection network, sourcing plastic from households, markets, waterways, and even landfills across Lombok. This community-driven approach not only reduces pollution but also supports local livelihoods.
The facility handles mostly flexible and HD plastics. Workers carefully sort each piece of flexible plastic by hand, ensuring quality and efficiency in processing. Their detailed work helps turn hard-to-recycle waste into valuable material for reuse.
West Lombok
The West Lombok Aggregator handles a wide variety of plastic types, including bottles, cups, HD plastics, sanitation containers, oil and milk containers, and many more. This diverse stream of materials reflects the area’s mixed plastic waste and the aggregator’s capacity to manage it effectively.
A team of dedicated women workers meticulously sort the plastics by type and color, ensuring high-quality output for further processing. The facility is also equipped with a drying area for shredded plastic, helping improve the cleanliness and usability of the recycled material.
Our Approach
One credit equals plastic removed, a job created, and pollution prevented. At Reclaimify, we make sure every credit delivers visible, verified impact.
Community-Centered Collection
We work directly with local aggregators and informal waste workers to collect hard-to-recycle plastics, especially low-value plastic that’s often ignored. This supports dignified jobs and strengthens local economies.
Verified Traceability
Each plastic credit is backed by a traceable process — from collection to final recycling. We use digital tracking tools to prevent double-counting and ensure full accountability.
Inclusive Empowerment
Our projects prioritize fair wages, gender equity, and social support. From safety gear and childcare to scholarships and microgrants, we uplift the people at the heart of plastic recovery.
Environmental Impact at Scale
By diverting plastic waste from land and sea, preventing open burning, and supporting local recycling, we deliver measurable climate and pollution benefits — credit by credit.
Designed for Replication
What works in Lombok is built to grow. Our model can be adapted to new regions, helping scale impact across Southeast Asia and beyond.

Our pilot project is based in Lombok, Indonesia. We are actively working on expanding to Bali and East Nusa Tenggara, with plans to scale the model globally.
We partner with local waste collectors to recover low-value plastic from households, communities, beaches, and landfills. The material is then sorted, baled, and sent to certified recyclers for processing into reusable materials.
